Surprise Keyhole Neckline Dress
When I first started sewing garments, I was pleasantly surprised by this Project Runway Simplicity 1651 pattern. My first try I made it too large, so I bought the pattern again (because you know I cut my pattern pieces directly and don't bother with tracing them, ha!) and made a smaller size. This time it fit perfectly! I love all the options this dress comes with, multiple necklines, back options, sleeves and multiple skirt choices. I've made so many of this dress I've lost count, and by switching up the neck, skirt, sleeves or back, they always look different!
This particular version used Robert Kaufman's Neon Neppy, a drapey soft chambray with neon flecks woven in.
I think this pattern is out of print, but if you see a copy around, I think it's worth picking up!
